Praise & Worship is vital for every believer to access God. The Word of God admonishes us to "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." Psalm 100:4. Praise brings us to His courts and we know that He dwells in the praises of His people.

Worship goes much deeper and the outer acts are least important. It is an attitude expressed with carefully chosen words to meet God's needs. It is giving, it is ministry to the Lord and it is reciprocal because as we worship Him, He inturn ministers to us. It is to meet His needs, not our needs for He is seeking for worshippers who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. (John 4:23).

Worship goes deeper than just making a decision, it demands a relationship with God. The more one knows Him, the better one is able to worship Him, the better it is for one to express his/her love to Him.To every believer, worship should become a way of life because it reflects who has the first priority in one's life.

The work of the choir and the worship leader is to help the worshipper in the congregation express themselves in worship to the Lord giving the sacrifice of their lips. It's the expression of the worshipper's love to the Lord.

Worshipping God is pleasant, pleasurable and profitable. It is pleasant because man is wired for worship and when he worships God, he gets to tap from his source. He therefore finds pleasure in doing that which he was created to do. Worship is profitable in that it meets God's need for worship that causes Him to respond to the worshipper by meeting his/her needs for ministry.

In this practice, the presence of God ministers to the worshipper with benefits which include joy, deliverance and healing. Therefore the worship part of any service is very crucial and very important to the Life Celebration Centre Community.
