The medical center has progressed very well over the years providing its staff with an opportunity to minister to their patients as they get treatment in that place.

Achievements:

1. Medical Camps

For three consecutive years now, King’s Medical Centre has successfully worked with a team of Christian Workers from the U.S. to organize for three days free medical camps at the Life Celebration Centre.

Objectives:

These medical camps are aimed at:

  • Reaching people in the community who
are not in a position to afford drugs and    medical care.

  • This provides for an opportunity to    witness Christ to them as they get    treatment.

  • To provide free curative drugs.

Through these camps we have been able to reach out to many people who would otherwise not attend a church service. The turn ups have been encouraging, people turn up in large numbers and in a day, we are able to reach at least 800 people.

The camps make it possible to address a greater scoop of medical problems in the community since the team from abroad comprises gynecologists, physicians and pediatricians.

Major complications such as surgery – related cases are referred to higher medical institutions.

Medical camps have resulted to an assortment of fruit that has remained today. They have benefited many over the years in terms of physical healing. In addition to that, there has been greater victory still because many souls have been added into the kingdom through these camps.

  • 2. Soul Winning

Our main reason for existence is to witness Christ to the community around us and to reach out to them with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.

We do this by witnessing to our clients during treatment. As a result of this, many have come to start a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

    A case in point
Nelson Mwangi a young man in his early twenties; who visited our clinic suffering from typhoid and malaria. At the clinic, he was well received by the receptionist and as they talked, the receptionist asked him whether he was born again. He said he wasn’t but all his family members were born again. He didn’t know why he had never given his life to Christ. The receptionist took the initiative of sharing Christ with him but Nelson never gave his life to Christ that day. He got the treatment and drugs he sought for and left the clinic. Though he did not get born again then, Nelson had heard the word of God in the process of receiving his treatment. Two weeks later he came back crying and testified to us that he had given his life to Christ following the conviction he got after the receptionist shared the word of God with him.
