| Home Church Strategy
As the membership of the church increases, it becomes difficult for the leadership in place to know every person attending church on a personal level. The Home Church Strategy is a pattern whereby home fellowships are encouraged in the estates. In the home church there are home church pastors who know the members well and feed them with the word. The establishment of home churches was necessitated by the following: 1. Need to extend Pastoral Care Each home church is headed by a home church pastor, an assistant home church pastor and a possible home church leader. Believers meet in estate fellowships once or twice every week. Through the home churches, the pastoral team is able to extend pastoral care to all members in the congregation. This is because individuals are known better in their home churches than they are known by other church members. Home churches are therefore very important to the leadership at L.C.C. because it's they create an avenue through which the leadership is able to extend care to the flock while dealing with issues such as weddings, burials etc. 2. Fellowship Fellowship is very vital for growth. Increase in numerical growth made it possible for one to be in the crowd and never know anyone or be known or even never make friends. By joining a home church, it becomes very easy for one to be integrated into the family; there are many opportunities to meet other people and to make friends. In a home church, we know each other better and we are able to stand with each other in challenging times. Through sharing our testimonies, experiences and challenges we build each other in the most holy faith resulting to growth. It is in the home church that gifts and talents are discovered and nurtured to maturity. 3. City taking Strategy
Home churches came into being as a tool of taking the city for Christ. They were designed in a way such that every fellowship would comprise some 15 members. When it grows beyond this number, the fellowship is to give birth to a new home church by cell division. Members in the home churches participate in evangelism by holding open air meetings in their estates, door - door and on one-on-one basis. Through evangelism and by the expansion pattern, it is expected that within a given period of time the city will be reached out. The goal is reaching the city of Nakuru with the good news of salvation.
