As a Church, we recognize the important role that women play in the society. Society is a direct product of family; there can be no society without family. Family is therefore a very important institution to God. Women are created in a unique way as homemakers; their impact is felt greatly in any family setup. Proverb 14: 1 says, "The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." (NIV)

There is therefore a great need to raise up women who will be "… discreet (careful) and chaste keepers at home …" This responsibility lies in the hands of the older women. They are to give Godly counsel to younger women on how relate with their husbands and their children; they are to furnish them with the word of God for practical living.

Daughters of Faith are a Women's Ministry under Deliverance Church Nakuru. It comprises young girls, single mothers, widows and married women. This ministry is founded on Titus 2:3 -5

"The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."

The Daughters of Faith Ministry comprises of women of all ages and therefore provides an enabling environment for the mentoring of the younger women by the older women on issues pertaining to building their own homes; not as foolish but as wise women so that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Other Objectives:
The other reasons for establishing the Daughters of Faith Ministry is to equip & impact women to the work of the ministry through:

1.Prayer

Prayer is a very important element in every believer's life. The word of God mandates women to teach their daughters to wail, "Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbor lamentation." Jeremiah 9:20 As they pray together, the Daughters of Faith train the younger women in prayer and intercession.

2.Fellowship

Fellowship is very important for growth. Through sharing our experiences and challenges we build each other in the most holy faith. The Daughters of Faith meet every Saturday afternoon for a time of fellowship and planning. This enables them to know each other better. The group of seven is a merry-go- round system where women get into groups of seven, then each member in the group reaches out to other seven women and heads that group. At the end of the day, every woman is a member of a group of seven and a leader of a different group of seven. This encourages fellowship among the women as well as developing leadership skills amongst them.

3.Evangelism

Daughters of Faith was established with an aim of reaching out to other women with the Word of God and the Compassion of Christ. Since Life Celebration Centre exists to reconcile people to God as well as equipping them for ministry both to God and to man, the women too have a role to play in spreading the good news of salvation to other people both individually as well as corporately.

Activities:

a.Missions
Women in this ministry are actively involved in Missions within and outside Nakuru. They go ministering to other women in other churches, women's fellowships and in conferences.

b.Hospitality

Daughters of Faith have been actively involved in welcoming guests and visitors and serving them with refreshments in this family. They play an important role in hosting and organizing for the accommodation of the delegates coming in for the conferences at the Life Celebration Centre.

c.Ladies Conferences

For the last two years, the Daughters of Faith have organized and hosted the National Daughters of Faith Conference that drew attendance from all over the nine regions of Deliverance Church Kenya. The conferences have been a great success as anointed ministers from different places minister the word with clarity. Articulated themes in these conferences include, "…..and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Esther 4: 14b and "…And blessed is she that believed" Luke 1:45
